Excursions 2011:
EHAS excursions:
423rd Excursion: Saturday 28th May. Exploring the landscape and settlement of The Mundens with landscape historian Anne Rowe. Meet at 2pm in the car park to Horses Meadow, to enjoy a short walk and account of the most interesting buildings in the village. Cost: £7 per member, £8 for non-members. Contact us if you wish to attend, or if you require transport.
422nd Excursion: Friday 17th June. Behind the scenes tour of Lambeth Palace, London, to include the library and historic building. Followed by visit to Southbank and Southwark Cathedral. Coach departs Baker St car park, Hertford, at 8.30am. Cost: £24 members £25 non-members. Please contact us if you wish to attend.
23rd July: Excursion to Bishop's Stortford and Thorley to see the renovated museum and the barn converted to a church, with Bill Hardy to tell us about it. Details will be mailed in June.
17th September: Excursion by coach to Suffolk. Details TBA.
